Citizenship by Investment Program

St. Kitts & Novis

  1. Visa-free travel to more than 120 countries( Such as EU, Canada, Hong Kong, Switzerland, UK, etc.)
  2. No residency, language, or interview requirement.
  3. Two options available:
    • investment in real state, acquisition of a property worth minimum $400,000 (plus acquisition cost 5-6% plus government fees of $50,000 per principal applicant and $25,000 per each dependant).
    • donation to the sugar foundation. donation of $250,000(single applicant) or $300,000 (for a family up to 4 members).
  4. To qualify as dependents, children must be under 25 and unmarried
  5. Applicant must pass a Due Diligence examination, and have no criminal record
  6. Applicant must complete a medical examination

Dominica

  1. Visa-free travel to more than 50 countries (including UK but not EU, currently under review in Europe)
  2. No residency requirement
  3. Requires a contribution of $100,000 (single applicant) or $200,000 (family up to 4 members).
  4. Contribution not refunded
  5. Timeframe: Up to 8 months before getting the citizenship
  6. The principal applicant must be over 21 years of age.
  7. To qualify as dependents, children must be under age 18 and unmarried
  8. Applicant must complete a medical examination and complete
  9. The principle applicant must attend an interview in Dominica

Antigua & Barbuda

  1. Visa-free travel to more than 120 countries (including the United Kingdom, the European Union, Canada, and Hong Kong)
  2. Residency requirement: 5 days in 5 years
  3. Citizenship by Investment Program:
    • Non refundable contribution of $200,000
    • Government application fees for a family of four (principal, spouse, and 2 young children) will be capped at $100,000
  4. Timeframe: 3 to 4 months processing the application

Grenada

  1. Visa-free travel to more than 50 countries (Including Britain and Hong Kong (visas to Canada, the USA, and the European Union may be easily obtained, and EU visa-free travel is coming soon)
  2. Timeframe: 4-6 months
  3. Dependents may be up to age 25
  4. make an investment of $250,000 in a Government-approved real estate, or other, project
  5. Government application fees for a family of four (principal, spouse, and 2 young children) will be capped at $70,000
  6. no maximum age limit, no net worth requirement, no minimum education level, and no management experience requirement

Malta

  1. Visa free travel to more than 120 countries
  2. EU member state
  3. No residency requirements.
  4. Timeframe: Up to 4 months
  5. Citizenship by investment program, also known as “individual Investor Program”(IIP)
  6. Minimum contribution of EUR 650,000 to Malta National Development Fund.
  7. Contribution is assimilated to a donation, hence non-refundable. In exchange the investor will qualify for the passport.
  8. Government application fee for family of 4 is EUR 50,000

Paraguay

  1. Visa free travel to 120 countries ( including EU, UAE and UK)
  2. Timeframe: Up to 5 months
  3. Citizenship by contribution of $120,000 to Paraguay National Development Fund. In exchange the investor qualify for the passport
  4. Government application fee for principle applicant is $20,000

Cyprus

  1. Visa free travel to more than 120 countries
  2. EU member
  3. Non- EU person can get either permanent residency or citizenship by investment
  4. Timeframe: from 3 to 4 months
  5. Invest EUR 5,000,000 in Cyprus real estate, ( The real estate must be kept for at least 3 years. after 3 years, an applicant can sell the property but must keep for lifetime a property in Cyprus worth min EUR 500,00) , or
  6. 3 years fixed term deposit of EUR 3.5 million in bank in Cyprus (not recommended because of recent bailout crisis.

Bulgaria

  1. Visa travel to more than 120 countries.
  2. Program requires a special contribution to the society, but Bulgarian language competence is not mandatory.
  3. Timeframe: 6 months( to get permanent residency) or 24 months ( to get citizenship )
  4. Two Investments Options:
  5. Contribution option: No less than EUR 250,000, OR
  6. Investment Options:
    1. 1) minimum EUR 512,000 into bonds,
    2. 2) same as (1) plus additional EUR 512,000 into smart economy or rural areas.
    Amount invest under (1) are returned after 5 years. Additional amount invest under (2) is at risk of applicant and not quarantined, and must be maintained for minimum 2 years. For (A), you may apply for citizenship directly. For (b), one may apply for permanent residency . After one year (option 2) or 5 years (option1), you will be able to apply for citizenship.

Slovakia

  1. Slovakia joined EU in 2004
  2. Proposes a Citizenship by investment program
  3. Visa-free travel to more than 120 countries
  4. Timeframe, after 12 to 18 months, one will obtain Slovak citizenship and passport
  5. Must be a special contribution to the interest of Slovakia.
  6. Minimum investment of no less than EUR 1,000,000. Producer involves acquiring temporary residence, permanent residency and then application for citizenship
